Counseling for the following is offered: Credit and debt management, budgeting and money management skills, financial literacy curriculum, home buyer education & counseling, mortgage delinquency/foreclosure information assistance, fair housing information, and referral.

Financial and benefits counseling services available for persons with disabilities. CILs directly provide or coordinate through referral those services which assist people in increasing their abilities to exercise control over their lives. Control over one’s life means having a choice of acceptable options that minimize reliance on others in making decisions and performing every day activities. This includes managing one’s own affairs, participating in day-to-day community life and fulfilling a range of social roles.
Business Consulting Services and Small Business Development
Advise small business or potential small business in the areas of management expertise. Make recommendations concerning loans by the Small Business Administration. Holds workshops and seminars. Business start-up assistance
One-on-one work with borrowers struggling to get credit as a part of everyday business. Presentations regarding financial literacy include: checking basics, advancing checking, banking products and services, checking/savings and products, identity theft, wants vs. needs, and budgeting. Evaluate current situation and available options to meet needs. Provide online courses that cover a variety of financial literacy topics including: money management, checking account management, and more.
Financial Counselors available for assistance on medical costs. Cardon outreach Services/ contracted by MCHS available to assist patient with disability coverage and Medicare as well as third party liability claims.Locate funding resources for medical coverage. Assist with application and compiling the documentation necessary to submit disability request. Work as a liaison between the state, counties, patients, and providers. Must have current medical expenses at our facility.
Program designed to help individuals and families who have income and who are behind on rent or can't pay upcoming rent. Participants placed in 1 of 3 tiers of the program depending on circumstances.
Programs include Financial Wellness for Adults, Basic Banking Adult and Young Adult FDIC Money Smart, First Time Home buyer, Identity Theft Prevention & Online Security (FTC), Get Smart About Credit, Junior Achievement. Programs designed to provide information on banking basics, budgeting, conquering credit, identity theft prevention, etc.

Hands on Banking program is a self paced or instructor lead class for children through mature adults, entrepreneurship and military affairs.
